Project Manager (Gas Pipeline)

Description: A national utility and heavy civil engineering contractor based in California is in need of a project manager or Sr. project manager. The company focuses on private utility (gas & electric), oil and gas pipeline, telecommunications and industrial projects.

Responsibilities 

• Prepare estimates for gas pipeline projects.
• Prepares budgets, schedules and work plans for projects.
• Daily interaction with project superintendents to ensure projects schedules and budgets are met.
• Manages financial aspects of projects.
• Attends and/or leads meetings with project personnel and owners representatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of industry related experience in utility and gas pipeline construction.
• Exhibits strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work with customers to develop and maintain long term relationships.
• Strong communication skills are required.
