Geophysicist

Responsibilities:

• Maintain depth volumes from 2-D and 3-D seismic data and attributes
• Support borehole geophysics programs including logging and micro-seismic
• Support other aspects of the technology plans
• Support Field Development Planning
• Recommend and acquire new seismic data when appropriate
• Interpret document rock-mechanical data
• Advise production group on using the seismic data for the drilling programs

Requirements:

• Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
• Bachelor degree in Geophysics or related field required, Master's preferred
• Technical professional with a minimum of 8 years experience in reservoir geophysics or production seismology
• Demonstrated leadership skills and competencies
• Has interdependently performed multiple tasks leading to final products of significant business value
• Applies industry standards, but has challenged these where appropriate
• Actively seeks input from peer assists and technical reviews to improve self and team products
• Prepares concise and thorough documentation of results for own work, and actively manages team work product
• Familiar with and committed to HSSE
