My client is one of the leading oilfield services provider, trusted to deliver superior results and improved E&P performance for oil and gas companies around the world.
*Test geophysical and project/data mangement tools and workflows
*Design, organize and execute test strategy, test plans and test suites with focus on intended application workflows and in close cooperation with the Development Team; acquire and manage test data required by the test plan.
*Ensure software products meet the acceptance criteria as based upon the current requirements and specifications.
*Review and edit user documentation for technical correctness. May participate in producing documentation.
*Find, explore, analyze and prioritize technical problems based on the importance to the end user and effect on overall product quality.
*Document and report test results in a timely manner using provided systems for test result reporting and defect tracking.
*Advanced college degree - preference is for MS in exploration geophysics
*Previous surface seismic processing experience. Ideal candidate would have 2-5 years of hands on experience having processed both marine and land data from field tapes through depth imaging and inversion.
*2-5 years surface seismic processing experience. Must be a demonstrated self-starter with good verbal/written communication skills
