Project Appraisal Engineer

MCL have an immediate vacancy for a Project Appraisal Engineer, as follows;

Details: For our oil and gas client.
Location: Aberdeen. UK
Duration of Contract: Long term, start ASAP.
Rate: Excellent rates paid - Please advise your expected hourly rate?
Experience Required: We currently have a specific requirement for a Project Appraisal Engineer to integrate into a major operators developments team in Aberdeen, working on carrying out the appraisal and front end definition of a diverse and interesting range of project opportunities. These range from upgrades and enhancements to existing assets to new field developments and tie-backs.
Must have: Educated to Degree level or equivalent (Engineering or a related field).

Successful track record of managing engineering projects through the front end appraises and concept select phases and generating business cases for management review/approval.

Experience of working with and managing technical teams, business analysts and process subject matter experts.

Competent in Planning, Cost Estimating, Risk Management, Performance Management, Quality & Delivery Assurance, Stakeholder Management.

Knowledge of stage gate decision processes and underlying project methodologies.

Proven track record in setting project expectations and delivering HSSE performance.
