We are seeking an experienced Driller onboard one of our North Sea Jack-up installations. The role of the Driller is to manage the drill crew to deliver efficient and effective drilling operations. The Driller operates drilling equipment and associated systems as part of drilling, tripping, casing, and cementing operations. This role also supports other rig departments during non-drilling operations.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

•  Plan work for crew members before work commences, and include relevant personnel in the planning process
•  Direct all necessary tasks prior to and during drilling, tripping, casing operations, cementing and fishing operations according  to agreed plans and procedures
•  Assign work to employees and ensure they are competent to fulfil their normal duties
•  Operate drilling equipment and associated systems in accordance with company procedures and manufacturers'  recommendations
•  Contribute to the effective execution of mechanical lifting operations
•  Provide and maintain well control
•  Ensure inspections & preventative maintenance schedules for drilling equipment and associated systems are applied
•  Lead and actively participate in all safety meetings and contribute with relevant points
•  Complete and submit reports, logs, records and notes in accordance to procedures and instructions
•  Ensure effective lines of communications are established and maintained by all crew members
•  Coordinate work and human resources deployment with other departments during non-drilling
•  Supervise, provide guidance and feedback to members of the drill crew for both routine and non-routine tasks

We are looking for applicants who are experienced offshore Drillers. You should have the following as a minimum:

•  Previous experience as a Driller on an offshore drilling installation with Cyberbase
•  Strong experience of drill floor operations, including the operation of all pipe handling equipment and tools.
•  Experience working with High Pressure and High Temperature Drilling Operations
•  Able to Prevent and React to Downhole problems to prevent a major incident.
•  Previous experience of supervising staff and the ability to communicate to all levels of Rig and Client Personnel
•  Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and RigSense.
