Job Description:

Perform detailed advanced engineering analysis on pipelines and associated pipeline structures.  Analyses undertaken will include, but not be limited to,  lateral buckling, Vortex Induced Vibration analysis, fatigue assessment and axial walking.  Work will also include the development of subroutines and post processing tools which are required to run the analyses models. Analysis will be performed using advanced finite element software programs.  Fundamental engineering design work will also be performed including route layout design, wall thickness design, thermal expansion, onbottom stability, spanning analysis, cathodic protection design and the development of field layouts, platform approach drawings, alignment sheets and technical specifications.  The following components will be analyzed: single wall flowlines, pipe-in-pipe flowlines, export pipelines, buckle arresters, bulkheads and other forgings.
