 Job Description:
1.Maintain the company's Greater Gulf of Mexico well containment permitting process document. Help ensure its effective deployment and use across all impacted functions. Revise and re-issue document as required from process changes and / or process enhancements.
2.Maintain an up to date "Current Status" tracker of all active well containment permits for the company's Deepwater Exploration & Projects (DWEP) and Gulf of Mexico (GOMBU) Business Units. This includes internal status, Marine Well Containment Company (MWCC) status and Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) status. Identify any potential schedule issues and help to resolve.
3.Assist in the development of the company's Greater Gulf of Mexico Regional Containment Demonstration document (RCD). Work with SBU drilling, completion, intervention, and reservoir engineers to compile the RCD. Coordinate any required updates and necessary approvals for the RCD.
4.Assist in providing final technical assurance review of all the company well containment Responsible Party (RP) documents ahead of submission to BSEE. Work with MWCC and the assigned Drilling Engineer to resolve any deficiencies in the permit submission. Ensure the MWCC contractual permit document, the Covered Well Addendum (CWA), is received and distributed within the company to allow approved spud of well to support scheduled drilling activity.
5.Design, develop, build, and populate a Sharepoint document management site to act as a source of key information for the company SBU's in developing their location specific capping and containment plans. The Sharepoint site is a repository of key capping and containment projects data. a.Maintain the company internal Sharepoint document library for key MWCS, MWCC, and the company information. Ensure all records are properly indexed for retrievals. Optimise site layout to suit user requirements. Expand the site to capture relevant information from Global Subsea Well Response Project.
6.Develop internal presentations on capping and containment activities for management and technical audiences.
7.Help identify, source, and co-ordinate the company's resources from across the company to participate in MWCS and SWRP peer reviews, audits, and technical workshops.
8.Maintain budgetary oversight for internal and external spends on both MWCS and SWRP projects. Assist in the development of annual Opex budgets for both projects. Track project expenditure against "Approval For Expenditures" (AFE's). Work with finance personnel to develop project related invoices to third parties (MWCC, MWCS, SWRP, etc.).
Education:
BS or equivalent
Experience:
0-3 years Experience or knowledge in, drilling, completion or subsea operations Experience or knowledge in offshore operational Drilling . Familarity with all the drilling equipments.
Preferred Skills:
1.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
2.Good communication and problem solving skills.
3.Ability to prioritise and work on multiple tasks to differing timelines and deadlines.
4.Basic functional knowledge of offshore well drilling and subsea systems terminology and operations.
