Projects Manager

We require a Projects Manager to be located at our Great Yarmouth office to assume the responsibility for the overall day to day management and successful completion of our rig upgrade/refurbishment projects.

The role typically includes ensuring that all departments and/or divisions within the company are supporting the projects and tenders as required, providing support/guidance to the project engineers and support personnel and interfacing with customers. The position also includes identification of resources and development of the department to ensure that projects are adequately managed and supported going forward.

Project values range from $200k to $5m and it is normal to have multiple projects ongoing at any one time on both onshore and offshore drilling units. The work is interesting and varied. The existing engineering/projects personnel that you would manage is a small but very knowledgeable and pro-active team that are used to working to tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years industry experience associated with a construction orientated background with at least 3 years experience in a similar position within the Oil and Gas Industry. We would also welcome applications from Project Engineers that feel they have the ability to progress to a Projects Manager role.

Whilst we would prefer this to be a salaried position with benefits, we will consider suitably experienced Contractor personnel for the position.
