PL Technicial Trainer Development Manager

JOB SCOPE: 

To prepare, conduct and coordinate technical training for Wireline Field Engineers in order to prepare these individuals for field operations with focus on safety, quality and efficiency. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Conduct technical training courses for Wireline Field Engineers
• Prepare technical training courses for Wireline Field Engineers
• Support the Wireline Career Progression path
• Obtain instructor level competency on all new services developed
• Maintain training equipment and systems
• Reviews and edit technical documentation
• Active participation as an examiner during breakout examinations (if requested)
• Willingness to conduct regular station visits and teach courses at domestic and international sites
• Light lifting, equipment maintenance, and irregular schedule as required
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential

• Strong technical knowledge of Wireline services including theory of operation and interpretation
• Excellent written and oral communications skills (English)
• Technical knowledge and experience operating Cased Hole services
• Technical knowledge and experience operating both Standard and Compact service lines

Preferred

• International work experience
• Excellent inter-personal, leadership and coaching skills
• Strong experience with Weatherford Technologies
