Unimin Corporation-the leading U.S. producer of industrial minerals and worldwide leader of Proppant supply to the Oil & Gas industry in North America-seeks a knowledgeable and commercially-oriented Petroleum Engineer to serve as a Technical Salesperson in our rapidly growing Energy Division.

We are specifically looking for a completions engineer or someone with extensive experience in that area of Petroleum Engineering who will interact directly with customers and oil field technical personnel, assist in sales of proppants, resolve technical issues, identify opportunities for new products and promote further understanding of down-hole proppant use and performance. You will also work with Unimin Sales, Marketing and Operations personnel and professionals from the Energy Industry to assist in meeting our customers' technical and material needs. Extensive N.A travel will be required.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a BS Degree in Petroleum Engineering and at least 5 years of practical experience in oil and gas and well completions, including specific experience in the use, performance and specifications of proppants. You must also have a comprehensive understanding of conventional fracturing technology, particularly as it relates to natural gas production form N.A. shale plays.
