Project Manager

Purpose of the job: To manage International capital projects through all phases as per the Client's business and implementation (BD&I) model.

Specific experience required

• At least 8 yrs relevant International Project Management experience
• International Experience in petrochemical projects
• Embedded knowledge and application of project execution fundamentals

Required outputs: Functional

• Ability to manage projects from inception to completion
• Competent in different project execution strategies
• Competent in different contracting strategies, i.e. LSTK, EPC, EPCm, etc
• Competent in estimating and cost control
• Competent in SHERQ requirements on projects
• Competent in construction management principles
• Competent in problem solving, negotiation and facilitation in a project environment
• Competent in the application of the BD&I, PMBOK, NEC3, etc
• Understand the total value chain of business on projects
• Working Knowledge of industry typical stage gate project execution principles
• Coordination of the contractor from an engineering, procurement and scheduled perspective
• Monitor schedule, cost and quality performance of the contractor and facilitate remedial action where required
• Perform general project duties and tasks defined by Senior Project Manager / Project Director

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)

• BS/ BS.Eng or equivalent qualifications as a minimum
• Working Knowledge of PMI / PMBok
• International experience in Petrochemical Industry
• International Travel
