Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Master, is responsible for the proper preparation and serving of three meals each day the vessel is offshore and as directed when the vessel is in port. Cook/Steward is responsible for the maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the galley pantry and dining areas at all times. Make grocery orders just prior to the start of each job. On occasion, the cook will directed to a supermarket to buy directly. Re-supply orders must be called in as far in advance as possible. All deliveries should be checked against the delivery ticket at once. All shortages or damaged and spoiled materials should be noted and present himself in a wholesome and pleasant manner.
