Technical Sales - Downhole tools

Packers Plus is the pioneer of open hole, multi-stage horizontal fracturing and we provide technology-based solutions to the oil and gas industry around the world. To support our dynamic growth, we are seeking a top-notch professional for the position of Technical Sales in Houston, TX.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Market evaluation and trends in oil and gas plays across USA
• Meets with account customers to discuss topics of concern, service issues and product competition
• Cultivates key business relationships within assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers and solicit orders
• Acts as a liaison to resolve concerns with customers and maintain a desired level of service
• Investigates current and forecasted requirements and introduces products and services available
• Ensures that assigned objectives and training are achieved by performing product presentation to external and internal customers
• Provides customer specific and market specific market intelligence in order to provide assistance for the Inside Sales Representatives, Quotations, Pricing Group, and Materials Requirements Groups resulting in the preparation of quotes offering competitive pricing and deliveries
• Completes all related account and sales reporting documents in a timely manner

Competencies, Skills and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a minimum of ten years experience in the oil and gas industry with a proven sales record in the industry
• Field Operations Experience is an absolute requirement
• Mechanically inclined and down hole experience is crucial
• Hydraulics Stimulation Knowledge
