PSL Accountant

Our Client:

An internationally recognised International Oil and Gas Company who operate in Africa, America, Europe and Asia. My client is currently looking for a PSL Accountant to work in Mozambique on a full time basis. Due to Nationalization programs we are only accepting Mozambican National at this time.

Job Description:

Be responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance of the general ledger and the resultant financial statements. Responsible for financial roll-up and accuracy of annual business plan. Prepares and administers the sections budget and business plan and may assist in preparing and/or administering budgets and business plans for operating departments. Responsible for interpreting and applying company policy and accounting principles to financial transactions.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. ACCA or ACA or CIMA Certification. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Accounting. Basic supervisory skills/experience preferred. Knowledge of US GAAP and country-specific accounting principles is required.
