PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Based in Brisbane (Australia) and reporting directly to the General Manager of Australia (based in Perth) your role will be to significantly grow our business in the East Australian region.
With the overall objective of producing profitable business revenues, you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of activities to meet existing sales targets, successfully increase sales by developing leads, expanding existing accounts and penetrating new markets, in addition to developing an effective sales strategy for the area.
You are an independent professional with proven sales & (account) management skills, strong commercial/business acumen and experience in a similar role. Note: You will be trained and operate initially from our Perth office but will relocate later to our Brisbane office.
Identification and follow-up of prospects (companies and decision-making units) and sales opportunities
Identify, evaluate and negotiate agreements and contractual opportunities with new and existing clients
Planning, organizing and execution of effective client visits (individually or in close cooperation with ModuSpec's technical specialists)
Develop and execute Sales & Marketing Plan, with the objective of exceeding sales targets
Organizing ModuSpec's attendance to or participation in selected industry relevant conferences and exhibitions (PR).
Consult with the General Manager and Technical Experts on new business opportunities
Keep abreast of developments in the Oil and Gas industry with a view to exploring new business opportunities
Maintain client related information and files in ModuSpec corporate systems in line with relevant processes, instructions and guidelines of the ModuSpec Management System
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education to college level (pref. commercial )
Creative, commercial, sales-driven personality
Strong numeracy skills
Strong communication skills
