Job Description:

Under general supervision, performs the rigging up and down of Geobalanced Applications (GBA) service line equipment on onshore and offshore work locations for the purpose of providing services during the drilling phase of a well.

This role requires intermediary knowledge of GBA operations and of pressure testing/calibration equipment for functionality.

This position concentrates on field operations - running GBA service line equipment according to customer specifications - but does include participation in shop operations relative to assigned field jobs. Coordinates Geobalanced Applications PSL equipment functions at the well site. Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer-related support activities. Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing,
and operating equipment at the customer location. Helps train service operators in areas of expertise. Monitors instruments and perform necessary calculations to assure quality of data/job. Promotes good customer relations at the well site, and assures customer satisfaction with results. Properly maintains assigned equipment and monitors compliance with safety regulations. Skills typically acquired through completion of high school or similar education and a minimum of 5 years in the oil & gas industry including 2 years experience as a Svc Operator-GBA or equivalent. Must be able to a interpret production flow diagrams and drawings, identify various rig supplies ancillary equipment and resources, demonstrate ability to pressure test equipment safely and work in a varied team environment and communicate job specific requirements. Must be able to understand and explain GBA equipment placement / layout per the job diagram. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic rig function. Must possess ability to complete all job documentation and communicate HES job specific requirements to HES sponsored third party vendors. Must be able to working at heights of up to 100 feet. Good communications and leadership skills are required. Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and navigate Halworld) are required. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes
