We are currently searching for a Recruiter for our northwest Houston office. The Recruiter will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting activity:

 

  • Obtains job orders from Account Managers and asks for clarification as needed
  • Develops ongoing, creative sourcing plans for identifying qualified candidates
  • Evaluates candidate qualifications using company and client interview standards
  • Negotiates compensation details and pre-closes candidate on position
  • Provides timely progress updates on prospecting and interview activity
  • Delivers well written interview feedback
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships with candidates
  • Clearly defines position requirements and recruiting process to candidates
  • Provides timely update on progress to candidates
  • Ensures smooth transition post hire and assesses candidate and client satisfaction
  • Frequently researches and shares new recruiting trends with team
  • Creates and maintains accurate engagement and candidate information in company ATS
  • Proactively updates management with recruiting progress and escalates client issues as needed
  • Complies with and helps enforce standard policies and practices
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
 

General:

  • Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must live within daily commuting distance of northwest Houston
 
Knowledge:
  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant business experience or 3-5 years as a recruiter in lieu of degree
  • Prefer recruiter with experience placing consultants as well as employees
  • Demonstrates interest and ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and ATS applications
  • Familiarity with Human Resource laws and functions
  • Business development/sales background or orientation a plus
  • Oil and Gas experience a MUST

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills; able to ''juggle'' responsibilities effectively in a high volume, fast-paced service environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively, verbally or in writing, 1:1 or in small groups
  • Proven analytical abilities

  • Ability to interact effectively across diverse cultures
  • Ability to be an effective team member
  • Ability to adapt as the organization evolves
