Sr Subsea Pipeline Engineer

Swift is looking for a Sr Subsea Pipeline Engineer for a project team that is based in Houston, Texas. Job Description:The Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer is responsible for development of specifications, design, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning of subsea export pipeline and production flow line systems, end terminations and foundation structures. The position is also responsible for preliminary design for optimum routing, integrity, installation and stability as well as interface and risk management for all project phases. The Senior Subsea Pipeline Engineer will also manage interfaces with the Riser design team, FEED & execution contractors and ensure compliance with internal standards, industry guidelines and applicable government codes and regulations. The scope covers shallow/deepwater infield flow line and export pipelines including shore approach

Education:

B.S. Engineering required, P.E. License preferred, M.S. Optional Experience:Proven track record of driving incident free HES culture. 20+ years experience and knowledge of detailed design, manufacture, testing, offshore installation, and commissioning of shallow and deepwater subsea pipelines, SCRs and subsea systems. Experienced with applicable industry and regulatory codes, standards, and recommended practices of subsea systems. Required Travel:Initial position will be in Houston but will require occasional travel to engineering contractor's office in Metairie, Louisiana as well as occasional travel to Angola to coordinate design and installation with Operations. Several 28 day on/28 day off rotations also expected during pipeline installation.
