Engineering Manager

Job Description:

Organise and manage all work within the project engineering discipline.
Manage all engineering activities in the Project.
Take part in Operational SJA / HAZIDs / HAZOPs / FMEAs as identified during the engineering stages.
Ensure that standardized equipment and methods are utilized as far as possible.
Prepare and review offshore installation procedures.
Ensure that HSE policy, zero mindset policy is implemented in the engineering deliverables.
Act on behalf of project manager on technical matters.
Assist department manager to develop, implement and maintain norms, guidelines and procedures.

Candidate Requirement:

Higher Technical University education - BSc/MSc/ Eng or relevant offshore experience

Relevant experience in one or several of the following areas;

Platform floater/ installation.
SURF installation.
Heavy-lift operations.
Mating/ Floatover.
Removal/ Decommissioning.
IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair).
Good English skills.
Capability to write clear and informative reports.

Capability to communicate formally and informally with personnel from other disciplines.
Integrity regarding own work tasks and responsibilities.
Capability to focus on customer, safety issues and other key areas.
