Project Manager - Aberdeen - Semi-Subs

My client has a felt of semi-sub accommodation rigs and due to demand have technical vacancies for Planning Engineer and Project Manager.

The Project Manager will have a 12 month fixed contract working Monday to Friday in office, yard and offshore when required. Offshore BOSIET and Medical are required. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience from the Oil and Gas, Ship Building or Marine industry in a senior management position. The Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Project Manager.

Relevant Project Management skills technical expertise and certification are required as well as a Degree in a related field such as Mechanical, Electrical or Naval Architecture.

Full Microsoft Office, planning software and database experience is necessary as well as strong communication skills. You will be required to lead and be part of the Project Team as well as communicating with various other departments. Through your experience you will have attained a thorough knowledge of project management covering marine engineering, contract, repair and upgrade strategies. Due to the nature of the role, knowledge of both UK and Norwegian standards are essential.
 

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Development and execution of projects.
• Leading planning, co-ordination and development of individual projects.
• Cost forecasting
• Budget control
• HSE&Q
• Control and Management of individual projects.
• Plan and schedule shipyard stays
