There is a new position as Operations Geologist with our client Saudi Aramco (Office work from Saturday to Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), Job Details as below:
Contract Duration: +2 years based on work performance.

Job Title: Operations Geologist

Job description:

Capable of handling all geological responsibilities associated with drilling operations with minimal supervision. Includes, but not limited to, the following:
o   Planning and creating directional well trajectories with reservoir and drilling engineers and updating those in OpenWork.
o   Planning and compiling geological prognosis including identifying any geological risks and contingency issues/planning.
o   Clear understanding of operational drilling activities.
o   Capable and willing to be involved with 24 hour operational activities with regards to tracking wells and making decisions in wellbore tack adjustments due to geological issues. This includes interacting with a Geosteering Operations Center.
o   Perform post-drilling evaluations such as correlations, map grid updates involving both structural and is opach mapping
o   Monitor and geo-steer all types of wells both in office or onsite when needed
o   Be able to clearly convey and present to interested parties the above activities.
o   Perform log analyses that helps in planning and modifications of wells path while drilling

Qualifications:
o   Experience as a wellsite geologist (preferably 7 years as minimum) that covers drilling, logging, coring, and supervising mud-logging operations
o   B sc. in geology  is minimum required
o   Software experienced in either LandMark or GEO frame (preferred to have modeling experience as well)
o   English language fluency.
