 **Immediate Need!
This position is with a Major Operator in Houston, TX. Operator is looking to hire immediately.
Purpose
This position will support one of the Flagship projects, executed in Houston. The Project Data Controller will work with the Project IM/ IT Lead and is responsible for development and implementation of procedures for all aspects of Data Control within the Capital Project.
Principal Accountabilities
Maintain the project reference data libraries for each data-oriented application.
Manage the collection, integration, and validation of data from the different engineering disciplines and contractors into a central data repository.
Prepare for data handover to Commissioning and to Operations, or handover to next project phase.
Prepare and issue of the data performance reports (status, progress and forecast).
Prepare and deliver the project data control work instructions covering data validation and handover to Operations, based the Company's specific data control delivery procedure
Other accountabilities as included in the EFA job description for this role and JG level.
Experience and Qualifications:
BA degree or equivalent
Significant experience in Information Management in Capital Projects
Knowledge and experience of data control processes and systems, with exposure in an engineering / project environment will be a distinct advantage
Experience of working with Engineering Data Warehouse (EDW) systems desirable
Previous experience of working in an Asset O&M team desirable
Awareness of cross-discipline engineering data (requirements and use) including: business data model of engineering, spare parts processes, Maintenance Management System build processes
