Job Description:
|
 Summary: Responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment
and systems , to ensure maximum production output and quality , while supporting the policies
goals and objectives of the company. Will be responsible for both manufacturing plants in Oklahoma
those plants are located in Norman and Marlow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
*Member of Plant Leadership
*Participate in objective setting, plan development and performance review of plant performance.
*Initiates , implements and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the
manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive /predictive maintenance.
*Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment.
*Responsible for maintaining all plant equipment , these items include the following
• Forklifts
• Welders
• Power Rolls
• Fabricating Equipment
• Hydraulics
• Electrical Systems
• OH Cranes
• Paint systems
• Company Vehicles
*Establishes and maintains a computerized maintenance management system for tracking all maintenance related
items, to include schedule and cost.
*Monitors operation and efficiency of all plant equipment.
*Coordinates all plant maintenance with plant management.
*Responsible for hiring, supervising, training all plant maintenance personnel.
*Responsible for continuing education, motivation of maintenance personnel
*Responsible for reward and discipline of maintenance personnel.
* Maintains safety and health policies of the company within the maintenance department.
Education and Pertinent Experience
*Minimum of associate degree from two-year college or Vo-Tech in related maintenance fields.
*Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in related fields.
*Computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Supervisory Responsibilities
*Directly supervises maintenance staff at both plants.
*Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
*Interviews, hires and trains maintenance employees :planning , assigning and directing work, reviewing performance , rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing problems and solving complaints.
