HSE Manager

Major Operator seeks to recruit a HSE Manager with knowledge of industry best practices for offshore pipeline and subsea manifold installation best practices and of vessel operations during offshore installation activities. This role is based in Aberdeen and is offered on a contract basis for an initial period of 12 months.

Reporting to the Project Manager the post holder will lead HSE risk management efforts by identifying potential HSE risks through all stages of the project and formulating appropriate risk mitigation plans and liaise with others such as contractors, drilling, Britannia operations, and third parties to bridge HSE risk management to a common system. Where required, produce bridging documents to assure common compliance and prepare and report HSE statistics.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of corporate HSE policies, procedures and reporting requirements with multicultural communication skills that include the ability to arrive at a common understanding of HSE practices, goals and reporting opportunities.
