Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for a Piping Designer.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for As-builts, P&IDs, PFDs Layout and Corrosion ISO's for existing gas production facility.
• Liaise with drafting group.
• Manage a current hard copy set of critical documents for the site is critical to the success of this position.
• Provide detailed project design from conception through completion.
• Work with production, gas, and water systems.
• Provide development of P&ID's, construction plans, equipment layouts, plot plans, piping routings, pipe support design, piping isometrics, field mapping, and system schematics.
• Have a working knowledge of related design disciplines, work within piping codes and standards, piping specifications and regulations.
• Develop designs to have a minimal effect on the environment, and be within safety in design standards.

Essentials:

• Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Please upload a copy of all required certifications and training
• Should have a strong piping background and posses the ability to:
• Prepare P&IDs and Plot Plans from engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of Gas processing facility including utility systems.
• Working knowledge of process piping design, plumbing and piping codes (ANSI, OSHA 1910, API codes and standards).
• Knowledge of process piping symbology a must.
• Knowledge of ISA symbology desirable.
• Ability to walk-down gas processing site.
• Qualified candidate must possess a full working knowledge of AutoCAD 2009 commensurate with experience.
• Drawing file management requires use of Windows Explorer and Livelink.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Outlook and Word is also desirable.
• Good writing and communications skills required to effectively working in a team based environment.
