Job Description:
We are assisting an outstanding Independent Oil & Gas company in the search for an International Exploration Manger.  
Position:  International Exploration Manager

Location: Denver, CO

Legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent, full-time basis.

Qualifications:

·       MS in Geology and 10+ years of major oil company experience including E&P technical and managerial experience, specifically, international management experience with an independent oil company.

·       MUST have strong management skills and experience managing geological staff and project set up and implementation.

Description:

International Exploration Manager (Geo - Denver) This position will be based in our Denver office and will conduct risk/economic/basin analysis systems as well as project planning and scheduling. Will build relationships with NOC's, competitors, and foreign nationals and convert opportunities into successful deal structures for joint ventures. Coordinate corporate department products and reporting to upper management. Will conduct country/basin analysis and selection using geosciences and fiscal system analysis and set up and manage all aspects of foreign subsidiary office in-country. Manage host country legal, environmental, accounting, banking, FCPA, and HR requirements as well as manage expats and nationals in host country office. Coordinate host country requirements with all corporate departments and manage foreign discovery through permitting, development, production and product sales contracts. Manage all partner and government reporting requirements as well as develop and manage detailed asset growth plan for host country following primary discovery.
