Job Description:
Rouge Pipeline Services (RPS), was set up in 2003 and became an independent company in 2008.

Experience and profile
HND or Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline, preferably Corrosion or Metallurgy.
At least 10 years relevant experience, including direct experience of the corrosion management practices and problems in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Corrosion engineer broad experience with both Chemicals and Methodological expertise is a must.
Candidate with experience in 1 specialization / area will not be considered
Must have upstream offshore experience, candidate with only onshore or refinery experience will not be considered

Role and responsibilities
Direct corrosion monitoring activities, analysis of the results and development of the Asset Integrity Corrosion Management Strategy (AICMS). Support the development of corrosion control practices and remedial work programs to address problems with the integrity of the offshore platform structures, infield pipelines, wells and topsides facilities.

Undertake and/or review facilities risk assessments and develop corrosion monitoring data gathering and analysis programmes; evaluate flaws reported; review data sources from internal and external groups to ensure consistency and quality all to ensure topsides pipework, vessels and structures are properly managed within the context of the Asset Integrity Management System.

Support with specialist corrosion input the Anomaly and Mechanical Corrosion Damage Report (MCDR) assessment and ranking processes for the offshore topsides facilities.
