Purpose and Scope:
Supervises the execution of day to day preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to installed oil, gas and water flow lines, transfer lines, vessels, tanks, wellhead manifolds, gas trunk line, spur, main oil line and supports. Supervises all welding and fabrication activities. Endorses necessary work orders and work permits, and supervises the actual execution of work. Investigates and troubleshoots pipeline raptures, other related maintenance problems and implements the Company's permit to work procedures.
Operates the MOL network in accordance with Operating Philosophy, Pipeline design parameters, Pumping Station over pressure protection systems MAWP and throughput from fields. Monitors crude quality at entry and exit. Plans, organizes and supervise routine and non-routine pigging operations.
Accountabilities:

• Supervises the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory functions and excesses financial authorities established by management.
• Supervises and directs the execution of planned and maintenance
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge:
BSc. in Mechanical Engineering complemented with welding qualification.
OR
Completion of Secondary education (12 years) followed by 2 years full time training leading to welding Diploma.
Experience:
7 years in general welding and fabrication work in the oil/ gas producing Company
