 Great Opportunity available with our Houston based Oil & Gas Engineering client for an Export Control Office. This will be a full time staff position with excellent salary/bonus potential, benefits and growth opportunity.
Job Requirements:
CERTIFIED EXPORT COMPLIANCE OFFICER, with knowledge of US Customs Procedures and experience in importation/exportation matters. Preferable bilingual ( English/Spanish). SAP knowledge a must.
Job Duties:
Will be responsible for SAI's Export Control Systems, including but not limited to: keeping the Company's licenses up to date, HTS Code verification and classification of commodities for export, preparation and verification of export documents, providing support to other Group Companies in terms of Export Control Compliance and ensuring the correct traceability follow up of all our clients equipment and commodities under export control. Moreover, he/she will be responsible for basic training in Export Control to all company's employees and for the regular updating o Export Control Procedures Manual according to Federal Regulations in place at any moment.
Shall prepare and follow up on inland, air and/or ocean transportation for national and international shipments. Customs formalities follow up. Preparation of documentation, spread sheets, TWOs in SAP. Revision of vendors invoices for Transportation, Customs Brokers and Freight forwarder, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum required experience: 3 years
Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
US work authorization require
