Job Description:

An experienced Technical Assistant is required to join an international technology company with a strong research & development base in electronic and mechanical engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Work with Operations, Projects, R&D, Drawing Office, QC and Workshop departments to coordinate all equipment readiness prior to loadout date - this could involve hands-on work on an ad-hoc basis
• Populate, organise and maintain existing project management documentation and records
• Compile client QA packages for auditable trail
• Work with project engineers to maintain the asset management system
• Monitor and maintain project related certification records
• Liaise with external and internal suppliers
• Complete job close out documentation at end of project
The ideal candidate will have the ability to read technical drawings, understand scope of supply, have technical and/or hands-on experience of oilfield tools, will possess an engineering qualification and have project experience. These are desired but not essential skill sets.
