We are a new Oilfield Services company located in Northwest Houston. Our goal is to deliver precise and reliable oilfield services. Our team provides the knowledge and experience to use the most modern technology for effective, efficient and safe wellbore performance. We are currently seeking a dynamic Directional Drilling Field Coordinator to join our team.
Directional Drilling Field Coordinator
Responsibilities
• Coordinate field operations support for company product line
• Technically supervise integrated multi-product solutions to clients
• Provide technical sales support for company product lines to operators
• Oversee field analysis for failed tool investigation and coordinate with quality control group to provide and present applicable incident report to the client - this may occasionally require overnight travel once per month to the job site
• Manage field testing of new products and help implement design improvements
• Make recommendations to enhance existing products to drive reliability
• Manage and coordinate project list for product development in given area
• Implement procedures, best practices and follow knowledge management processes
• Integrate drilling dynamics data and surface data to optimize drilling bit performance
• Leadership in training and mentoring of new engineers
Qualifications
A highly-qualified candidate will possess the following abilities, attributes, experience, and skills:
• 7+ years experience as a directional driller
• Experience as a Coordinator is a plus
• Knowledge of Compass software is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of shale drilling techniques
• Able to pass drug screen, physical and background check
• Able to travel 10-20% on overnight trips to jobsite
• Non-standard work hours, 24/7 contact and availability expectations for operational support
• Behave in a professional and ethical manner in line with corporate policies
