Job Description:
The Commissioning Advisors will be required to support pigging platforms through final detail design in Houston before transitioning to the Lobito fabyard 3Q12 for pre-commissioning work of the topsides. 1Q13 installation and HUC of the 2 x platforms, Operation support during 2013 pipeline installation, commissioning and startup of the system which is currently planned for Jan 2014. While based in Houston the positions review design and commissioning plans, support the development of the CRX Platform Operating and Maintenance plans, Base Business SERIP requirements. The positions must also provide Operations training to SOMG Operation team. When onsite in Lobito they will participate in the pre-commission activities in the fabyard and Operation acceptance of each system. The positions will also provide hands on training the SOMG Operators using the developed Operating and Maintenance procedures on the installed equipment and systems. 1Q13 they will move with the installation of the platforms through the drilling HUC completion and participate in the pre-commission and commissioning work to test, dry and nitrogen pack the pipeline to operating pressure. The position will also provide hands on training to the SOMG Operators on the installed equipment and systems using the developed procedures ready for startup of the pipeline system.

EDUCATION:

Engineering degree preferred. Alternatively a minimum of ten years relevant offshore experience. All offshore training requirements must have been completed. Please make every effort to propose Angolan Nationals for these positions.

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must be experienced Lead Operation/Maintenance role for offshore operations. Previous work experience must include training of national workforce, Fabyard pre-commissioning, HUC, commissioning and startup.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Assignee must not be under any current Angolan blue - stamp visa restriction. Previous experience with CABGOC / SASBU Angola is preferred. The work will commence in Houston in June 2012. Hours worked in Houston are on a 9/80 schedule. Job will transition to the Lobito fabyard 3Q12 for pre-commissioning work of the topsides. Schedule in Lobito will be 7 x 10 hour days and our preference is for the advisors to work 6 weeks on, two weeks off (it is a short campaign). 1Q13 work will move offshore on a regular 28/28 rotational schedule. The wage rate band will be that used for Production Engineers.
