BOP Superintendent

The BOP Superintendent will provide technical support to the field on BOP and well control related equipment issues, as well as the evaluation and recommendation of maintenance procedures and practices.
The BOP Superintendent reports to the Business Unit Asset Manager.

Troubleshooting:
-Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting and repair of equipment to onshore and offshore personnel
-Provide technical support and contact Manufacturers and Vendors as required in assisting troubleshooting.
-Field support and best practices:
-Provides direction to facilitate decisions on priorities of repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
-Review rig maintenance performance against objectives; establishes initiatives with the team to achieve goals and objectives
-Oversees the data quality recorded in the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS)
-Helps and facilitates rig to keep rig drawings updated.
-Through observations of the PM routines and PM schedule, propose improvements or corrections as needed.

Skills - Technical:
-5 to 10 years offshore as a Field Support Supervisor or equivalent position in the area of related equipment and system expertise.
-Experience in an offshore drilling operation preferred.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
-Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytic skills.
-Excellent problem solving skills.
