 A global famous engineering company is looking for a Process/Mechanical engineer who has experience with material handling equipments to join their team in Beijing/Shanghai.
Requirements:
1.Minimum 5 years of material handling engineering and design experience
2. Familiar with international and Chinese standards as applied to material handling equipment
3. Knowledge and engineering experience of vibrating feeder, belt conveyor, rotary feeder, screw conveyor, pneumatic conveying system, magnetic separator, cranes, crushers, cyclones, dryer heaters, dryers, dumpers, dust collectors, elevators, extruders, filling equipment, hoists, hoppers,loaders, mills, mixers and other solids material handling equipment
4. Native Chinese who can speak English
5. Working experience in engineering companies and design institutes
Duties:
Understand scope of services and client requirements and convey such to assigned Mechanical Engineers or
CDI (Chinese Design Institute)
Preparing the Mechanical scope of work and design basis for the project
Establish interfaces with other disciplines on the project
Provide equipment cost, dimensional and performance estimates
Prepare and maintain control level schedule, develop and monitor estimates and manpower forecasts
Prepare Mechanical Flow Diagrams for Material Handling Systems
Design and development of system layout, arrangement of equipment, and building space requirements
Prepare narrative specifications.
Prepare equipment designs, drawings and data sheets
Developing and revising equipment lists
Participating in Material selection for equipment
Prepare Requests for Quotation, Bid Summaries, and Purchase Order
Identify change orders and provide manpower forecasts to project management
Establishing Vendor Drawing/Data requirement
Reviewing & marking up submitted Supplier drawings and data
Leading the Squad Check effort for vendor data by various disciplines
Assist inspection to identify specific inspection requirements. Setting standards for shop
fabrication and field inspection
Providing consultation and/or on-site assistance in the installation, commissioning, or Start Up of equipment
