JOB SCOPE
Specifically, this role provides key analytical data and elements to support the strategies across the particular category, throughout its life cycle for the business. This role is accountable for a range of activities in support of the Team's end-to-end category management process. Such activities will include spend analytics, supplier profiling, global bid evaluation, and supplier performance assessment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop spend analytics to support Category Wave Plans
Organize relevant data structures to develop category profiles
Compile market intelligence for the category to understand market drivers
Compile and prepare global RFX packages for the category
Determine fact-based material to support supplier negotiations plans
Develop KPIs to assess supplier performance during routine Business Reviews
Support category team in developing and implementing strategies, across the strategic sourcing process
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Essential
4 year degree in supply chain, business, or related field
Experience working across disciplines and cross-functional teams
Strong communication skills across a wide range of cultural environments
Preferred
CPS or CIPS qualification
CPCA qualification
Oil & Gas industry experience
Business Degree
