Production Enhancement Domain Tester

This is a Software Testing position in the Production Enhancement Technical Software group. In this role you will test interactions across complex software applications for use in the oil and gas industry using your knowledge of Well or Fracture Planning. Your primary responsibilities will be the Domain Tester for the organization, while performing some elements of software testing. You will be responsible for capturing and/or analyzing business processes (or workflows) and verifying that these processes are appropriately managed within the software solution. The role of software testing includes: manual and automated testing, test design and planning, defect management, estimating testing efforts and creating test plans. You will work closely with Product Owners and the User Experience Design team to advise on product improvements based on previous releases, customer feedback and industry knowledge. Finally, you will be the POC (Point of Contact) for non-domain testers as it relates to test design. This position will give you an opportunity to work with onshore and offshore team members.

•Bachelor's Degree in Reservoir or Drilling Engineering with 5+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in drilling in the oil and gas industry
•Experience must include: Well Planning, Drilling, or Fracturing
•Experience working in a distributed team model leveraging resources that are offshore and/or outsourced
•Experience installing and configuring engineering software in the Windows Operating System

Preferred:
•Ability to incorporate Domain Knowledge in a Software Development environment
•Experience with IPS, the EDM database, WITSML, and 3D Visualization, is a plus
