Get hands-on with Halliburton's software development compute systems by working as an Information Technology Systems Administrator. In this position you will work to support the infrastructure that supports our commercial software development organization. You will be involved with the system from installation to maintenance. Build and install appropriate computing hardware according to architectural standards. Assess and fix end user issues and supporting infrastructure. In this role you will work with end users as well as peer groups within the information technology organization.

A bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent related work experience and a minimum of two years experience in systems administration, including experience in a corporate IT environment are required

Technical Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems (Server 2003/2008, Windows 7)
- Experience with Linux (RedHat preferred)
- VMware technologies
- Strong understanding of Networking
- Experience creating and document procedures and best practices
- Experience with SMS, Active Directory, LDAP, SQL, Scripting
- Customer Service Oriented

Type of Equipment:
- HP Servers/Workstations/Notebooks
- Various storage solutions (ie.. NetApp)
