Sustaining Engineer - Conroe, TX

As a Sustaining Engineer you will check engineering designs to improve product life, durability, efficiency, and manufacturability for Halliburton's Fixed Cutter Bits. A few of your daily responsibilities will be:

•Processing and create designs using top of the line CAD software NX6.
•Bill materials and routers into SAP
•Create marketing specification sheets and upload in to Halliburton software for internal and external visibility
•Work with Application Design Engineers to ensure designs are manufactrable and meet design standards.
•Support manufacturing for dispositioning non-conformances
•Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process.

Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 2 years of related experience. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional is preferred
