 Job Description:
Perform analysis and design of offshore platforms including substructures and topsides
Responsible for the quality and accuracy of engineering deliverables including design criteria, specifications, reports, studies, and insuring that structural design is accurately and completely represented on drawings
Perform fabrication support engineering, and offshore installation support engineering
Prepare engineering estimates, and engineering proposal
Works with other Structural Engineers and Designers on project structural teams
Interact effectively with engineers in all disciplines, drafters / designers, project management team, internal and external customers.
Job requirements:
Work experience: more than 7 years in Structural Engineering related to offshore oil and gas facilities, including EPCI projects
Education: MS or PhD in Civil / Structural Engineering
Proficient with API RP2A and AISC codes
Ability to function as project Structural Engineer
Professional Engineer registration desirable. If not registered, should plan to work towards this after accepting employment
