Sr. Mechanical Engineer / Drilling Products

• Provide technical assistance as necessary during design, manufacturing, installation and operation of products.
• Direct designers and drafters in creating detailing designs. Perform layout design work, design and check the dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to an assembly.  Check detailed drawings and Bills of Material.
• Create designs based on the customer specification.  Write a functional design specification and test procedure to meet the customer specification.

• Compile and assimilate data from various sources, conduct relatively routine operations and tests, prepare reports and develop graphics for presentations.  

• Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development, test, installation and service, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.      
• Support SIT as well as land based and offshore activities as required which may include time spent on or offshore.

Position requires a BS in mechanical engineering.
Position requires a Professional Engineering license
Qualification Preferences:
Familiar with API 8B and 8C.
Working knowledge of rig floor equipment.
