 Talascend is seeking Process Safety and Risk Managers in Houston, TX. These are direct hire positions with one of the world's largest EPC companies. The Process Safety and Risk Manager will be working on FEED & EPC projects. Working in an environment which encourages openness, teamwork and trust. Will be involved in HAZID reviews, perform some consequence analysis, develop Performance Standards for Safety Critical Systems, maintain a Hazard and Risk Register, review studies performed by third party contractors: Fire & Explosion Analysis, Quantitative Risk Assessment, Facility Siting Study, Emergency System Survivability Analysis, Escalation Risk Assessment, SIMOPS Risk Assessments and any other activity in support of the Safety Report for a Major Hazard Facility. Will manage a team of engineers to ensure implementation of Process Safety requirements into the design of the same facility. Requirements Operational plant experience in Process Safety Management would be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of the Australian Standards and Regulatory requirements is a plus. Previous FEED/EPC experience on Oil & Gas Processing / Refinery or Petrochemical projects is required. Familiar with US and European safety regulations as well as Australian Standards and UK HSE requirements for Major Hazard Facilities. Travelling and coordination with other project teams located overseas may be required.
