Job Description:
To support the Hebron GBS project, our client is seeking resumes from qualified individuals to join our GBS team based in St. John's, NL.

Reporting to the Marine Engineering Lead, the Marine/Mechanical Engineer will provide support during the engineering and construction of the Hebron Gravity Based Structure (GBS).

Specific responsibilities include:
Define requirements for temporary related systems for all temporary marine operations
Marine follow-up of temporary related mechanical systems for vertical movements during all phases of the project eg. detail design, follow-on, construction, completion, operation, and decommissioning
Ensure that correct design basis is being used and that working methods, procedures, and work instructions are developed and are in use to satisfy quality assurance requirements
Be continuously updated on project main status and challenges related to temporary marine operations
Participate and contribute to preparation of ITT for marine operation sub-contractors, eg. topsides tow and installation, platform tow and installation, decommissioning of temporary related mechanical systems
Prepare engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and scopes of work in support of marine operations activities. Follow-up of marine operations sub-contracts

Requirements:
Candidates are required to have an engineering degree in a related discipline and be registered or eligible for registration with PEGNL
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years' experience
Candidates must have commissioning experience
Candidate should have experience with passenger vessels and ferries, construction barges, tugs, pumps, etc.
