Job Description:
|
ISS is currently seeking a candidate to work in Lafayette, LA. The employee would work closely with our client at their Lafayette office.
-Support implementation of the Client's Corporate Standard Process and other processes as applicable.
-Assist the GOM D&C HES Team in conducting pre-start up and refresher IFO sessions, provides HES coaching, mentoring, and active engagement of employees and contractors to promote safe operations.
-At times, provides guidance on D&C policies, processes and procedures that comply with GOM Regulatory and Client expectations ultimately leading to Incident Free Operations (IFO).
-Assist in developing and implementing procedures designed to prevent recurrence of incidents/findings including review and feedback on inspection and investigation report recurrence prevention measures.
-Under guidance from the D&C HES Team Leader, Develop/document a robust process/procedure for managing field HES Reps: acquisition, training, tracking, and orientation.
-Attend and participate in daily Operations meetings.
-Interact with GOM Drilling Managers, Rig Superintendents, Drilling Engineers, Drill Site managers and Well Site Managers on field HES Reps activities.
-Attend and participate in annual Meetings. This will include supporting the Drilling Compliance Team Leader / Team in preparation of material and presentations for these annual events.
-Develop a procedure and templates for supporting Contractor Management Sponsor Meetings.
-Completes JSAs Desktop and field Reviews and provides input and coaching as appropriate.
-Improve the GOM HES performance data analysis through spreadsheets and computer based tracking systems and software currently in use.
-Other general support activities as directed by the D&C HES Team Leader.
Qualifications:
*Minimum 5 years in oil and gas operations.
*Minimum 5 years HES experience.
*Technical degree preferred.
*Strong interpersonal skills, self motivated, ability to communicate effectively to various stakeholders, including management and contractors.
*Must be versed in computer use and Microsoft software applications.
