 Rouge Pipeline Services (RPS), was set up in 2003 and became an independent company in 2008. From our headquarter in Dubai, we provide a wide range of services dedicated to the Oil & Gas industry, mostly in the MENA Region. The Group activities include pipeline services, project management consultancy as well as technical assistance solutions.
With our extensive experience in Oil & Gas services, we believe that successful projects rely on cohesion of the team as well as the quality of the operating manpower. GENERAL REQUIREMENT
Technical Writer/Author(s) required for further development of project documentation:
o Offshore Hook-up (Construction) Work Packs - basic package available, will require further development only - Urgent requirement
o SIMOPS Dossier to satisfy Work Pack scope simultaneous offshore operations and construction (hook-up) - Urgent requirement
o Development of Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Dossiers as per direction of the Commissioning Supervisor
JOB DIMENSIONS
Candidate must have offshore experience with expertise in one of the following:
o Fully understands the principles of Construction Work Packs
o Fully understands the principles of SIMOPS Procedures and compilation of Dossiers.
o Fully understands the principles of Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Procedures and compilation of Dossiers.
ACTIVITIES:
o Work Packs - further development and refinement of Work Packs, including reformat of manhours
o SIMOPS - development of SIMOPS Dossiers
o Pre-Commissioning - development of Pre-Commissioning Dossiers in line with PJC ---
o Commissioning - development of Commissioning Dossiers in line with PJC ---
o Interface with Project Management Team, Discipline Engineers, and Operations
o Documents to be produced in line with project document numbering and format
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
o Works on daily basis (7:30am to 03:30pm)
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
o Deliver the Work Packs as per the Company and project specific guidelines
o Deliver the SIMOPS Dossiers as per the Company and project specific guidelines
o Deliver the Pre-commissioning Dossiers as per the Company and project specific guidelines
o Deliver the Commissioning Dossiers as per the Company and project specific guidelines
Required Qualification & Technical Back-grounds:
„« Experience in oil & gas Procedure Writing for offshore projects - Hook-up, commissioning or Operations Procedures. Onshore experience will not be considered.
„« Good written and communication English,
„« Excellent skills in MS Office software, such as Word and Excel.
„« Able to work as part of a team and independently
