Contractor Safety Technical Authority

Major Operator seeks to recruit a Contractor Safety Technical Authority (TA) with experience working with project management, in particular contractor management. This role is based in close proximity to London and is offered on a permanent basis.

The post holder will be a subject matter expert within the Safety discipline focused on establishing and implementing the requirements of the Group Practice for "Working with Contractors". Responsible for the work processes, standards and practices that the operator employs to effectively manage the risks associated with contractor activities including working closely with internal and external stakeholders to embed the requirements and develop capabilities and competencies.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an engineering or relevant technical discipline and a relevant professional qualification (certified safety professional) is preferred together with experience working in the manufacturing industry working at corporate level (safety or in similar related roles) and have experience developing and implementing corporate-wide standards and processes.
