Part of Petrofac - a leading provider of oilfield services to the international oil & gas industry - Caltec is a growing, dynamic and innovative company, with proven solutions to real operational problems from Gas Production Boosting to Sand Separation.
As an integral part of the Caltec business development group, we require an highly experienced Regional Sales Manager to assist in the overall development and delivery of our strategy
As the Sales Manager you will play an integral part in establishing the Caltec brand as the world leader in boosting and compact separation across a multitude of regions globally where we are not currently represented.
Your challenge will be to develop your business area and build a team of sales professionals to ensure your region delivers a significant increase in revenues and growth
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director you will:
-Undertake the continuous exploration and monitoring of the Regional market to seek opportunities and give input to Technology -Function of product performance envelope required to exploit opportunities and the justification
-Monitor competitor activity and strategize to keep Caltec ahead
-Execute and input to the marketing and sales strategy, process and performance
-Make sales calls and close deals for own assigned customers/region.
-Proactively contribute towards an effective sales team of direct employees, associates and agents
-Participate in tendering and contract negotiations
-Exploit successes to multiple repeat deployments within the clients' Regional operations
Required skills & experience:
-Significant sales and marketing background in service sector of oil industry
-Significant experience in marketing new technology to upstream sector
-Operations and technical experience in upstream sector
-Proven ability to build rapport with clients and third parties
-Willing to travel to client sites regionally on an ad hoc and irregular basis
-It is preferred that the ideal candidate will posses a process engineering background and the ability to identify opportunities to deploy Caltec technology in the clients' facility and design the integration solution to facilitate deployment to the clients' standards.
