Major Operator seeks to recruit a Greenfield Project Engineer with previous Topside Project Engineering experience. This role is based in London and is offered on a contract basis.
The Greenfield Project Engineer will support contract and procurement departments in the development of major contracts and purchase orders for packaged equipment. He will also; Facilitate interface with Fabricator and Fabrication/Construction Management Team, facilitate interface with major purchase orders and design contractor, facilitate inter discipline issues, both within the companies team and in liason with the design contractors Project Engineers, control the flow of information from 3rd parties to the Design Contractor, manage other works as required by the Engineering Manager/Senior Project Engineer, produce internal progress reporting, facilitate change control with Design Contractor and provides input to project planning activities.
The successful candidate is required to have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline; mechanical, structural or piping bias is preferential, but not essential. Have a proven track record of involvement in projects at a similar phase or maturity and of a similar size and complexity and also have knowledge of facilities design.
