We are currently looking to recruit a Resident Engineer (steel pipes) to join a leading engineering consultancy on a water supply project in Oman. The main duties will be to assist the Construction Manager in the construction supervision of a number of reservoirs and associated infrastructure. The reservoirs are large rectangular deep excavations in the mountains. Explosives will be used for blasting through the rock. Steel pipes will be used and as such we are looking for qualified engineers with specific experience in this area.
Essential experience required.
Degree from a western accredited university
Minimum of 15 years experience as a professional civil engineer
Chartered status or professional licence is essential
Relevant experience as a Civil Engineer with specific experience of working on large water projects. In particular you must have experience with STEEL pipes, reinforced concrete (RC), large excavations.
It is essential you have experience in steel pipes and all associated welding
You must have experience in delivering a minimum of 2 water supply projects
You will ideally have experience of working in the Middle East or at least in a location with similar conditions.
