We are currently searching for multiple Helicopter Deck Assistants in support of exploration and development activity in Alaska to coordinate cargo and baggage to and from aircraft. Work will be performed on a 21/21 rotation in Deadhorse, with 12 hour days on day or night shift. Living accommodations are provided with a man camp and transportation is provided from Anchorage to and from Deadhorse.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all baggage and cargo for passengers leaving or returning from offshore
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are followed and report any deviations
  • Assist in the organization of large groups of people for the coordination of the flight
  • Fuel the aircraft

Essentials:

  • Must complete post offer physical Functional Capacity Evaluation and Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be an Alaskan resident to apply
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED required and must be able to supervise and train others.
  • Must be punctual and dependable, able to hold a high level of confidentiality and willing and able to work overtime as required or requested
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and load baggage and cargo safely and be able to work outside in hot/cold temperatures and around loud noise.
  • Must follow all requirements set forth by Cenergy's customer at the work site
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, friendly, professional and proactive manner with office personnel
  • Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining both perspective and professional demeanor
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to differing tasks with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Must be able to work shift work
  • Familiarity with dispatching is needed
