 Petrophysicist is urgently needed to fill a position in Houston, TX with an international oil and gas exploration and production company!
Progressive Global Energy & Natural Resources specializes in delivering first-rate professionals to the Oil & Gas industry. I work specifically with Petrophysicist and have been hired to execute an executive search to fill this role as soon as possible.
The candidate should have experience in the following to be considered for the role:
• Experience working with both clastic and carbonate reservoir systems
• Familiarity with advanced methods of post core retrieval handling and analysis techniques
• Demonstrated ability to design logging programs in complex reservoir systems, maximizing data acquisition
• Knowledgeable in petrophysical and geological analysis integration
• Must be willing to work in integrated teams and have the ability to interact effectively with geoscientists and reservoir, operations, drilling and facilities engineers
• A minimum of 2 years of Petrophysical Engineering experience within the oil industry, service company or producer
• Experience with petrophysical software packages (ie Powerlog, Logic, IP, Techlog); possess database management skills
• Proper authorization to work within the United States is required
